Sheet Metal Worker -

Journeyperson or Apprentice

Universal Sheet Metal is currently looking to add skilled journeyperson and/or apprentice with a positive mind set to add to the team.

​

Duties
- General Sheet Metal work installations - commercial, institutional, multi-residential.

- Measuring, installing, fabrication, blue print reading.

- Strong knowledge of sheet metal duct installation.

 

Qualifications
- Red Seal ticketed Journeyperson or Apprentice
- Knowledge of construction industry and safety
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints accurately (Applies to Journeyperson applicant only)

 

Job Types

• Full-time, Permanent

Flat Roofing Worker -

Journeyperson or Apprentice

 

Universal Sheet Metal is currently looking to add skilled journeyperson and/or apprentice with a positive mind set to add to the team.

 

​Duties

• General Flat Roofing work installations - commercial, institutional, multi-residential.

 

• Install, repair, and replace roofs using materials such as SBS, TPO, gravel, and asphalt.

• Ensure roofs protect buildings from weather conditions, such as rain or snow

• Use hand tools and other equipment (e.g. scaffold, ladder)

• Follow safety rules

 

Qualifications

• Red Seal ticketed Journeyperson or Apprentice

• Knowledge of construction industry and safety

• Experience as a roofer or a similar role in construction

• Experience using various hand tools and equipment

• Physical strength and good balance
